1. Who we are

This website is operated by KEYTECHX PTE. LTD. ("Keytechx", "we"), a company incorporated in Singapore (UEN 202400494Z). Quiet is a Keytechx Product Foundry startup. Our registered address is 68 Circular Road, #02-01, Singapore 049422. You can reach us at hello@keytechx.com.

2. What this policy covers

This policy covers this website only. The Quiet product processes a law firm's email inside that firm's own Microsoft Azure tenant, under separate written agreements between Keytechx and the firm. Those agreements, not this policy, govern how the product handles a firm's data. If your firm is considering a pilot, ask us for those terms.

3. What this site collects: almost nothing

This site sets no cookies. It runs no analytics. It loads nothing from third parties: fonts and media are served from the site itself. We do not track you, fingerprint you, or profile you.

If you only read the site, you never send us personal data, and we never ask for any. The one trace a visit leaves is the ordinary server log described in section 4.

4. Server logs

Like any website, this one is served by a hosting provider: Microsoft Azure (Azure Static Web Apps), in our own Azure subscription. Its servers keep standard access logs: your IP address, the pages you request, the time, and your browser type. We use these logs only to run and secure the site, and for nothing else. They are kept for no more than 90 days.

5. The contact form

If you want to talk to us, the contact form asks for four things: your name, your firm, your work email address, and an optional note. That is the only personal data this site collects directly, and you choose whether to send it.

We use it for one purpose: to reply to your enquiry and, if you ask us to, to arrange a pilot. As the form itself says: "We'll only use your details to reply about this. You won't be added to a marketing list." We do not sell or rent personal data, and we will not send you marketing messages. The form does not ask for your phone number, and we will not call or text you.

When you press Submit, your details travel over an encrypted connection (HTTPS) to a small service we run in our own Microsoft Azure subscription. That service stores nothing and sets no cookies: it checks the submission and sends it as an email to our team at hello@keytechx.com, through our own email provider, Google Workspace. From then on, your enquiry exists only as email in our mailbox. No form-builder, marketing platform or outside email service handles it. Microsoft (Azure) hosts the website and the submission service, and Google (Workspace) is our email provider; each processes data in this flow only as our infrastructure provider, under our agreements with them.

6. Consent and lawful basis

Under Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (the "PDPA"), by submitting the form you consent to our collecting and using your details for the purpose in section 5. We will not use them for any other purpose without telling you first and, where the PDPA requires it, asking for your consent again.

If you contact us from the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area, the UK GDPR or EU GDPR may also apply to you. Where it does, our lawful basis for handling your enquiry is our legitimate interest in responding to a business enquiry you chose to send us.

7. Who sees your details, and where

Your details go to the Keytechx team and to no one else, apart from the service providers that operate our website and email systems (see sections 4 and 5) and anyone the law compels us to inform. We are a Singapore company: your enquiry is handled in Singapore and stored with our email provider, Google Workspace, which may store data in data centres outside Singapore. If you write to us from another country, your details cross borders. Wherever they are handled, we protect them with reasonable security arrangements, and when they leave Singapore we make sure they remain protected to a standard comparable to the PDPA's, as its transfer rules require.

8. Retention

We keep your enquiry while the conversation is live, and then for 24 months after our last exchange with you in case it resumes. After that we delete it. You can ask us to delete it sooner at any time, and we will, unless the law requires us to keep it.

9. Your rights

You may ask us what personal data of yours we hold and how we have used it; ask us to correct it; ask us to delete it; or withdraw your consent, which stops our use of it. Write to hello@keytechx.com or to our data protection officer at dpo@keytechx.com. We will respond within the timelines the PDPA sets.

If the UK GDPR or EU GDPR applies to you, you also have the rights it grants (including access, rectification, erasure, restriction and objection) and the right to complain to your supervisory authority.

10. If something goes wrong

If a data breach affects your personal data and meets the PDPA's notification threshold (likely significant harm to those affected, or significant scale), we will notify Singapore's Personal Data Protection Commission and, where the harm threshold is met, the people affected, as the PDPA requires.

11. Changes

If we change this policy, we will change the effective date at the top and publish the new version here. We will not quietly widen what we do with details you have already sent us.
